The head of The Moles needs the right group of people.
As a kid in Honkai: Star Rail, Hook is very disorganized, especially when compared to Clara, who is more calm. It’s both her attitude and her moves that are very powerful. Hook walks the road of destruction and gives fire damage with her Diggertron, which is better than anyone could have hoped. While on the Destruction path, she does a lot of fire damage to a single target. This makes her different from other Destruction path characters who can also do some AoE damage.
If her strikes hit, they might do burn damage, which hurts your enemy before their next turn. Because she focuses on doing damage right away and over time, Hook is a good major damage dealer for your team. With Hook as your main DPS, you should pair her with two supports and a sub DPS.
Bailu – Healer
Sometimes you don’t need healers on your team, like when Hook doesn’t get hurt as quickly as some other characters. Still, picking one can save your life and save you time when you’re grinding for a long time, fighting tough bosses, or fighting in the Simulated Universe.
For a doctor, Natasha is a good choice, but not the best one. Instead, don’t be afraid to use Bailu if you get her in the gacha! Bailu can heal more naturally and has a special ability called Gourdful of Elixir that can bring a character back to life once per fight.
Hook can be a great main DPS, but only if she’s still alive to do damage. If you have Bailu on your team, you definitely will stay alive (with a capital “almost”). In your team, she would take up one of the support places. The second support spot would be for someone who can either help your friends or hurt the enemy.
Gepard – Tank
Adding a Tank character to your party could help Hook in fight by reducing the amount of damage she takes. Based on how you play Penalty Kick Online, they can be both a support and a sub-DPS. Focusing on letting them take hits and guard will put them more in the support role, while putting them on attack will put them in the Sub DPS role.
Gepard is known for not dying in fight and having a high passive Taunt, which makes him a naturally good tank. He mostly deals damage with ice, which is similar to Hook’s focus on fire and gives you more attack points to hit weak spots.
His strikes mostly do damage, but sometimes they can stop enemies. As an ultimate, though, he gives all of your friends a shield that absorbs some of the damage they take.
Pela – Support
If you want to consistently do a lot of damage to your enemies, Pela in one of the Support jobs is a good choice. All of her hits, whether they’re aimed at a single enemy like her skill and ability or at all of them at once like her ultimate, weaken their defenses.
You can do more damage to your enemies, even if you’re not hitting them with their flaws, since your DEF has gone down. When you’re facing bosses with a lot of health, this can help speed up the fights and keep them from going on for too long, which can happen in some turn-based games.
Pela is also a good match for Hook because she deals Ice damage. Pela may be able to hit an enemy’s weak spot when Hook can’t.
Bronya – Support
Bronya is a good shield when you’re on the battlefield; she slightly boosts your ally’s defense and raises your own attack at the same time. But that’s not what’s important. The fact that she can deal wind damage gives you another chance to break enemy shields.
The important thing is that Bronya is one of the best game assistants. She does a good amount of damage, but her skill also removes debuffs from your friends, letting them take another turn right away.
Her ultimate attack does even more: it boosts the attack power of all your friends for two turns. This means you can completely destroy your enemies without even batting an eye. You won’t have to think about much as long as Hook is with Bronya.
Clara – DPS
Clara and Svarog, who is protecting Clara, are both Path of Destruction figures, just like Hook. But unlike Hook, they can deal both focused damage to a single enemy and damage to everyone nearby. This lets them help Hook out on the fight in ways that Hook doesn’t have.
If you have a main DPS who can only hit one character at a time, having someone on your team who can give Area of Effect damage is very helpful. It’s very helpful to be able to kill whole groups, especially when you’re farming in the Simulated Universe or the different Calyxes in Honkai: Star Rail.
Of course, Clara and Svarog are great choices because they do damage. In any case, they’ll do a fair amount of damage, and you’ll often come across groups of enemies that are weak to it. To have Clara on Hook’s team, you should try to get her in the gacha.
Welt – DPS
It’s likely that Welt is the best sub-DPS fighter for Hook’s team. As someone on the road of nihility, he not only does a good amount of imaginary damage, but he can also sometimes lock up your enemies and slow them down.
If you can stop enemies from taking their turns, you can lessen the damage you take if you do take damage. From your point of view, this must be very frustrating for the boss, but it’s going smoothly for you.
When Welt is raised up enough, he gives you a one-way ticket to Victory Town. You can’t go wrong. In terms of damage, he won’t be better than Hook, but he will help her out by giving her more turns before the enemy can slow her down.
