GIIS, a premier international Singapore school founded in 2002, provides a well-rounded education to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 at both of our campuses (Punggol and East Coast).
Every day, our students are engaged and learning in our 21st-century learning environment, which is directed by our dedicated instructors.
GIIS’ forward-thinking curricula, skills-based labs, and digitally-enhanced classrooms featured on the National Geographic Channel as a “School of the Future,” enable students to build vital abilities and confront the future with confidence.
We provide a variety of International and Indian curricula to our kids, including the IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme), Cambridge IGCSE, IB Diploma Programme, CBSE, and our Global Montessori Programme for Kindergarten.
We were the first secondary school in Singapore to implement the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The prestigious board offers great academics and skill-based education to students who will go on to become industry specialists in the future.
Students attend secondary school from Grade 6 to Grade 10, where they have access to the greatest modern teaching tools, personalised attention from experienced teachers, and a large choice of digital materials to study and experiment with in order to deepen their academic foundations.
GIIS’ curriculum, while demanding and academically oriented, achieves balance through many non-academic events and activities that bring out the best in students and focus on their holistic growth.
This promotes our pupils’ confidence, improves their personality, improves their talents, and prepares them for future difficulties. CBSE Curriculum is available at both our Singapore school – Punggol Smart Campus and our Cheviot Hill East Coast Campus.
An All-Encompassing Educational Framework – 9GEMS
Our primary goal is to help children grow into well-rounded persons by providing enhanced learning opportunities and appropriate new-age skill development platforms.
Our award-winning 9GEMS framework is designed to work in tandem with Indian International school curricula to provide excellence in nine areas of educational importance, including Academics, Sports, Innovation, Leadership, Arts, Entrepreneurship, Community Connect, and Universal Values.
This dynamic framework combines curriculum with digital and futuristic platforms for activity-based learning, fostering learners’ creativity, critical thinking skills, and emotional health.
Bridge Programme
We believe in meeting the needs of international students, which is why we keep secondary school admission open throughout the year. We provide not only a flawless experience but also a fluid absorption in the learning process for students who join in the middle of an academic year.
We help pupils catch up with their peers in academics and other school activities through the Bridge Programme. Our teachers make a concerted effort to assist new students in adjusting to their new surroundings by giving academic support through project notes, extra effort through instruction, and offline support as needed.
